Adventure racing did wonders on my own healing journey. It's like a playground for adults.


There is a lot of unknown factors, which can allow the brain to start processing things differently. Changing that rigid mindset to a more flexible one and open for ideas!


More than that - it's putting the physical sensations into the test - allowing your mind to face them and overcome them!


So let me tell you about it in a nut shell...


Adventure racing is typically a multidisciplinary team sport that involves navigation (with compass and a map) over an unmarked wilderness course. The races extend anywhere from two hours up to two weeks in length. The basic disciplines include trekking, mountain biking and paddling. Other races can incorporate other disciplines like climbing, horse riding, skiing and white water rafting.

You don’t need any experience to get started. Those events bring people from many different sports together, all ages and varying fitness levels. All you need is an adventurous spirit and your belief that YOU CAN overcome anything.
