SIMPLICITY NOVEMBER TIP #2

Do you have one of those purses or wallets that have all your shopping dockets from the last three months in it?  When you go to buy something does it take a few minutes to find or squeeze the money back into it?

Having a streamlined wallet/purse means you can better see what money you have and if it is going fast or not.  With calls on it more than likely increasing in the next month or so now is a great time to clear it all out and be able to see what is in it when needed at the cash registers.

You may get lucky and find a crumpled up ten in amongst an old docket; in that case it really is worth your while spending a few minutes tidying it out!

TIP #2 ~ SORT OUT YOUR WALLET/PURSE

Time:  15 minutes (easily done when watching tv)

1 Empty the contents of your wallet or purse out

.

2 Sort through all the old dockets/receipts and bin any that do not need to be kept ~ Shred/tear up anything with even a partial card number or name on it

.

3 Discard any old or out of date cards, phone numbers or useless pieces of paper

.

4 Put everything back that is needed

.

If you like you can put all your coins into a saving jar but leave enough coins for parking though

  1. 15 minutes? I can do that.

I just can’t figure out what rewards cards to get rid of because eventually I always seem to end up needing one when I don’t have it….
