Life in these ‘modern times’ can get fairly busy; always rushing here and there, having to do this and that, watching the clock, living up to expectations and wanting everything to be nice looking at the same time – Phew!! Just thinking about it can make a person in need of a cup of tea.
Sometimes being so caught up in your own life means that you can’t see what it is really like. All you know is that you never seem to have enough time to do those things that are closest to your heart. Days seems to be taken up doing a myriad of things which if examined closely don’t really matter all that much.
What is really important to you?
Sit down (maybe with that cuppa from before) and think about the things in your life that are really important to you. Try this list of suggestions of core values ; it may help get you thinking about areas of your life that you would like to honour more than you currently are.
When you live according to what is truly important to you a feeling of aliveness and purpose is included in your life; you are doing what you are here to do.
Build your life around your values; don’t try to squeeze them in on your holidays or a long weekend.
Enjoy
