Okay…so this is the first blog of my first blog. Not quite sure what I am doing but that is one of the big issues that hold many people back from achieving things they would like to do and I am no longer one of those people. When you have something in mind that you want to achieve, certainly do a bit of research into how you would go about it and do plan to some extent. However, you could spend for ever and a day planning (and I LOVE to plan) but I read a book a few months ago by T Harv Eker which simply said ‘get in the corridor’. So I am getting in the corridor today and even though I am not fully confident with how all this stuff operates; I know enough to get me started.
Knowing enough, is enough to get started
If you wait until you are really good at something or until you are perfect you will never start. If you never start you will never have it or finish it. So I urge all of you reading this – and lets hope it is more than just me! – to decide today that what you have been planning to do for ages and putting off because you don’t feel you are good enough at it yet or that you haven’t done enough prep for it; to go out and get started. After you have read this, grab a piece of paper, note the first few steps to take (the ones you’ve been planning for ages), put the completion date next to each one and start. Even if you only do one thing today to move toward your goal; you have still started.
Every thousand mile journey begins with a single step
….Chinese proverb

Looking forward to seeing where the corridor leads!
me too!
I always enjoy reading a persons first post when I visit their blog for the first time. I LOVE to plan too. It is true that you could stay in that stage for a while…Good for you for taking ACTION!
